At first we had to battle with the oven and get it working but a day passed and we couldn't get it to work so mary's bf went to do some findings and finally we got it working.
It was time we moved on to making the pre-baked cake. Mary bought lots of stuffs and was out of sorts ,like a lot. She got butter, piping set, flour,etc. you know the rest. anyway this is the end result.

What's To Say?

Today, a lot of running around was done during late afternoon till now. I forgot to do the necklace i had promised my Niece as her birthday got which is on the 5th. I had to sneak into the guest house since my brother,the father, was waiting to collect the beaded jewellry from me. It took a while to get it done. Thank God she is just gonna be 1 so the amount of beads it took to make it was minimal. They are actually twins, a girl and a boy. I find myself in a sticky situation. What should i give the boy? I want something that isn't common, any ideas? Prior to that happening, i just remembered that today is SL's birthday, so i quickly dashed to a mart and got him a wine, non alcoholic of course. Tomorrow is my other nephew's birthday (ebun) and i got him a painting book and crayons. I will post the pics later. Oh i just didn't plan all this. When i woke up this morning i thought i will sleep today off but i guess that was just in my dream,eh? The first errand that got me off the bed was my sister's cooking ingredients, then, the rest followed. I must say that august will turn out to be the most financially straining period for me cos i have about 4 to 5 other family and friends birthday coming up and maybe someones i have forgotten. Don't get me wrong it is out of the goodness of my heart but hey, it is coming out of the pocket isn't it? That's it am about to go upstairs to pick dirt out from beans, that is what we are eating tonight.

Some say my new hair cut makes me look chic, some say it makes me look like 'iya agba' and other say i shouldn't have had my hair cut. I say, i can do anything i want with my hair cos it is ''my hair''. I feel i rock this bcos i want to and i believe anyone can turn a weird fashion statement into 'tres chic' if you deeply believe it is. For example, denrele's outfits are very strange yet expressive. He is a far fetched fashionista and that is how he dresses. To all the bad mouthers, I WILL NEVER REGRET CUTTING MY HAIR.
